WGCAS provides a variety of counseling services, including through private insurance, self-pay, as well as DFCS and Court referred services. Participation in any or all of the counseling components are based on the reason for referral, assessment results, treatment recommendations, as well as the individual’s goals.

Services We Offer

We are a family focused, community based mental health agency that provides a variety of services to those with substance abuse, mental health and family conflicts. Our services were established in 2000 with the intent of being a private provider in the west central Georgia geographic area. Some of the treatment modalities used at WGCAS are Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement De-sensitization Re-processing (EMDR), Seeking Safety, Trauma-Focused Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Parent/Child Psychotherapy, the Matrix Model for substance abuse, and the Brain Change for domestic violence.
